Exclusive: In the City Season 2 cast members revealed amid Amanda Batula exit

Five newcomers join the show

Brittany Whitfield, Robert Morrison, Reagan Baker, Natasha Parker and Barthelemy Jallet are joining the Bravo series for its second season. The cast filmed scenes over the weekend at the SLS Playa Mujeres in Cancún, Mexico. Parker previously appeared on Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise.” Baker starred in HBO Max’s 2023 dating series “Swiping America.”

Filming at the resort

The resort weekend included a “Taste of SLS” celebration, with Kyle Cooke performing at a pool party on Saturday. The Chainsmokers and Bomba Estéreo also performed. Scenes were filmed around the resort, including at the spa, on the beach and during evening events. Cooke’s DJ set was also part of the filming. Returning cast members in Mexico included Lindsay Hubbard, Gavin Moseley, Yvonne Najor, Nick Barber, Kenny Martin and Whitney Fransway, alongside Cooke.

Newcomers’ work and lives

Parker lives in New York City, is a certified meditation teacher and hosts the podcast “Hidden Gems with Natasha Parker.” Whitfield, also based in New York City, works as a celebrity makeup artist and licensed esthetician. Whitfield is married to Morrison. Baker, a hairstylist, founded the Soho salon “House of Reagan” and is married to Jallet.

Batula and others depart

Batula, Danielle Olivera and her partner Eoin Heavey, Andrea Denver and his wife Lexi Sundin are among those not returning for Season 2. Batula withdrew amid online bullying, fan backlash and cast drama tied to her relationship with West Wilson.

Sources disagreed about the circumstances. One said Batula turned down a limited, part-time return because she could not film with Wilson; another said it was not the right time for either of them. A third alleged that the network would not meet Batula’s salary demands.
