Active cooling and 25W charging: aawireless expands beyond android auto adapters with Qi2 car charger

A new charging product
AAWireless is adding a car charger to its product lineup, which has centered on converting wired Android Auto connections to wireless ones. The new AAWireless Charge is a Qi2 25W wireless charger priced at $50.
It is compatible with MagSafe, Pixelsnap and Qi2 devices generally. Compatible phones can charge at speeds of up to 25W.

Cooling and mounting options
The charger has a built-in fan for active cooling. AAWireless describes the fan as “quiet” when running. The package includes an air vent mount, an adhesive base and two magnetic ring adapters. The rings are intended for “Qi2 Ready” phones without built-in magnets or an available magnetic case.

Power and availability
AAWireless recommends using a car’s 12V outlet with the included adapter for best performance. Existing USB-C connections can also be used if they provide enough power. The charger does not include a wireless adapter for Android Auto. AAWireless says it can be used alongside one of the company’s adapters while driving. The adapters remain available on Amazon, while AAWireless Charge is sold only through the company’s website.
