Star Wars Actor Reveals Shocking Real-Life Encounter With His Strangest Fan

A stranger inside his home

Christensen said the incident took place several years ago while he was at home on a phone call. He expected a friend to arrive, so when he heard someone enter the property, he assumed it was that friend.

When he went to check, he found a stranger taking several of his belongings. Christensen said he was initially stunned before understanding that the person was trying to steal from him.

The intruder recognized Christensen

The situation changed when the man realized whose home he had entered. Christensen said the intruder apologized repeatedly and returned the items without law enforcement becoming involved. The man explained that financial problems had brought him there and that he needed money to get home. He was also having trouble finding a job, according to Christensen.

An offer that went unanswered

Christensen gave the man clothes and shoes to wear for job interviews. He also offered to buy him a train ticket and drive him to the station the next day.

The man never came back to accept the offer. Christensen did not say what eventually happened to him or whether they had crossed paths again.

Christensen’s Star Wars roles

Christensen joined the franchise in 2002’s Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. He returned in 2005’s Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, which followed Anakin’s transformation into Darth Vader.

He later voiced Anakin in 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. In 2022, he appeared with Ewan McGregor in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
