Dungeons & Dragons Release Announced: World of Warcraft Dice Preorders Are Live
Alliance and Horde Dice
Dice manufacturer Sirius is selling licensed Dungeons & Dragons x World of Warcraft sets in blue Alliance and red Horde designs. Each die replaces its highest number with the matching faction symbol.
The sets cost $39.99 each and feature sharp edges, glittering flakes and colored swirls. The article describes them as pricier than a plastic case of Chessex dice from a local game store.
More Products Available
Other Sirius products include an Icons of Azeroth “Treasure Pack” with themed dice in blind packs, priced at $19.99. Mini dice cups are also offered as $19.99 blind packs.
A “Collectible Gargantuan d20” depicting an Orc Grunt and a Human Footman costs $54.99. The other products currently do not have images.
Preorders Despite Backorders
All the Dungeons & Dragons x World of Warcraft products are listed as backordered, but customers can still preorder them. Orders are to ship when the products become available.
The article suggests waiting for images of products that lack them. It also notes that buyers who are unsure about the accessories could first try a few D&D: World of Warcraft sessions.
A New Wave for Fans
The book is part of a broader pairing of the franchises, with an Icecrown Citadel map pack and miniature sets also mentioned. The dice reveal adds another product aimed at fans of both worlds.
Those with little interest in World of Warcraft may choose to skip this wave of D&D releases. For others, the products offer a way to bring Azeroth themes into their collections.
