The Pitt Star Jalen Thomas Brooks Officially Confirms His Return for Season 3
Brooks confirms his return
Brooks confirmed he will be back as Nurse Mateo Diaz in The Pitt’s third season. He spoke with Collider’s Steve Weintraub at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival. Asked whether he would return, Brooks said, “I will be there.” He added that he does not know much about the new season.
A swift season schedule
The article says The Pitt began in 2024 and that Season 2 arrived one year later. HBO has confirmed Season 3 is planned for next year, around the same time.
The article contrasts that schedule with streaming shows that can have multi-year gaps between seasons. The Pitt has become one of television’s most-watched shows since its premiere, according to the article.
Cast changes ahead
Season 3 is expected to differ from the second season. Supriya Ganesh will not return as Dr. Samira Mohan, while Shabana Azeez, who plays Victoria Javadi, will have a smaller role.
Brooks praised the people making the series, describing them as experienced and committed to stories with importance. He said viewers would continue to see professionals and meaningful stories.
