A toilet joke from Norway trolls Trump after Nobel Prize meltdown over Oslo snub

Trump criticizes Norway
Trump said he did not want immigrants from Norway because he had not received the Nobel Prize. He also called Norway a “s**t house country,” a phrase he has previously used about Haiti, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
Earlier, Trump had described the failure to award him the Nobel Peace Prize as an “indelible stain” on Norway. The Nobel committee is based in Oslo.
Tourism post turns to toilets
Visit Norway responded with a website post highlighting scenic lavatories. Its headline read, “Norway makes s**t houses great again,” and the post said the toilets were worth visiting whether or not a person needed to go.
The collection included the Golden loo on the island of Senja. Its description compared it with a gold-plated toilet seat, which it said ordinary people could not afford.
Adviser explains the humour
Evgenia Egorova, a senior adviser at Visit Norway, told NRK that the response relied on do-it-yourself humour and Norwegian architecture. She also told NRK that humour made the statements less serious than they otherwise would have been.
