Dungeon Crawler Carl Adaptation Officially Unveiled for 2027 With Jeff Hays Narration

Audio Rulebook in Production
Soundbooth Theater plans to record the full core rulebook, which runs more than 350 pages. The audio version will cover game mechanics, character creation and other rules, rather than offering only a shortened introduction.
Jeff Hays, who performs Carl, Princess Donut and other audiobook characters, will be the primary narrator. Players will be able to access the recording through the Soundbooth app, which also hosts the Dungeon Crawler Carl Audio Immersion Tunnel.
The company said production would follow its work on the tunnel’s third season. Further development is needed to integrate the new material into the app.
Soundboard Brings Familiar Effects
The planned soundboard will use effects and ambient music from the Audio Immersion Tunnel. Players will be able to trigger sounds during sessions to create a more immersive tabletop experience. Renegade has also previewed character voice clips and announcements from the Dungeon AI, including “NEW ACHIEVEMENT!” The soundboard is expected to arrive alongside the audio rulebook in summer 2027.
Different Bonus for Backers
All three bonuses are free for eligible backers, whether they supported the tabletop roleplaying game, Unstoppable or both. Redemption keys will be sent through the BackerKit pledge manager as each item becomes available, with no extra purchase required.
