Stewart joined Today host Craig Melvin for a Halloween cooking segment on Oct. 30. She and Melvin were dressed to match: he was portraying Snoop Dogg, and she wore a white outfit inspired by her own Olympics look.
As Stewart guided the anchors through decorating a Halloween cheesecake, she noticed the chocolate ganache was missing. Melvin pointed out a piping bag, then picked it up to hand it to her. Ganache leaked from the bag and landed on Stewart’s white pants.

The mishap affected more than Stewart’s pants. While the pair showed off their costumes, Melvin again apologized for the spill, and the camera showed a chocolate spot on her white sneakers.
