Assassin Creed Valhalla Free Download Officially Confirmed: Ubisoft Adds New Game+

New Game+ arrives November 5
Ubisoft said New Game+ will come to Assassin's Creed Valhalla on November 5 through a free update. The feature was a frequent point of frustration for fans, despite the game receiving two years of major post-launch support.
Players can carry skills and equipment from a completed save into another story playthrough. The mode will include dedicated scaling for gear and enemies, allowing players to retain a preferred setup while facing a changed level of challenge.
More progression and rewards
The update includes an optional progression mode in which Gear, Runes and Masteries contribute to Eivor's overall Power. It also adds new runes, achievements and a stash system. Among the new rewards is a Master Assassin outfit inspired by Naoe's appearance in Assassin's Creed Shadows.
A return after the final update
Ubisoft released what was described as Valhalla's final update in 2023. The game has now returned with the New Game+ announcement, more than three years later, and is identified in the report as the best-selling entry in the Assassin's Creed series. The writer said they had completed the game to 100 percent during lockdown and were not eager to return, while also arguing that Valhalla receives more criticism than it deserves from some series fans.
Other Assassin's Creed news
Ubisoft also provided an update on Assassin's Creed Hexe, a forthcoming game set during the 17th-century witch trials in Central Europe. Its release is expected in 2027, and the report says work is making “steady progress,” according to Ubisoft. The original Screen Rant review praised Valhalla's scenery, including its varied landscapes and Roman ruins, while criticizing some design choices and the return of Helix credits.
