Skydance Reveals TV and Streaming Leadership Roles as Merger Reshapes Teams

New leaders take key posts

J.B. Perrette, Skydance’s DTC and TV co-chair and chief business officer, announced the division’s leadership in a staff memo on Thursday. Jeff Cusson will lead communications for Skydance DTC as executive vice president and head of communications.

Shauna Spenley will become chief marketing officer of global DTC and international TV. Trey Turner will serve as international chief operating officer, Josh Walker as DTC chief operating officer, and Liz Wright as chief financial officer of the Skydance TV segment.

Perrette outlines shared direction

Perrette said the division’s structure would assign some leaders mainly to TV and others to DTC, while some would cover both. He described the businesses as increasingly connected as industry conditions and consumer behavior change.

He said the company would seek to advance each business while making strategic and financial decisions for Skydance as a whole. The structure is intended to combine local and regional expertise with global scale, with collaboration as a central priority.

Thanks for departing executives

Perrette thanked the departing leaders for their contributions to the DTC and TV businesses. He said their work had helped the prior companies and described them as colleagues, friends and mentors. He wrote that their efforts had been instrumental to the businesses’ success and wished them well in their next endeavors.
