Married 3 months before announcing engagement, pregnancy: Savannah Chrisley and Jason Galanis secretly wed in Cayman Islands ceremony

Records show July wedding

People reported that marriage records show Chrisley and Galanis wed July 14 at Cayman Islands Baptist Church. The records emerged after Chrisley announced her pregnancy and engagement in an Instagram video on Tuesday. In that video, Chrisley did not name her fiancé, calling him “J” and saying he was “much older.” Galanis was later identified as the man she was referring to.

Galanis’ legal history

President Donald Trump commuted Galanis’ prison sentence in March 2025. The White House did not explain the decision; Trump’s order also absolved Galanis of financial penalties and the remaining prison time.

Chrisley speaks about her baby

Chrisley later shared a sonogram and said her unborn child was “not a headline.” She wrote that the baby was not defined by anyone’s past, mistakes or opinions. She also wrote that no amount of noise would overshadow the joy of being the baby’s mother, calling the child her “answered prayer” and saying she would never apologize for celebrating the baby.
