A rule about dating Luann

Sonja Morgan said she and her friends do not tell Luann de Lesseps who they are seeing. Kelly Bensimon offered a blunt explanation during an interview: Luann “steals boyfriends.” The issue surfaced after Kelly shared details about Sonja’s new suitor with Luann during an episode of The Golden Life. Sonja said she was upset because she did not want Kelly to intensify a situation she had just begun to calm.

Sonja was also already in trouble for getting handsy with Luann’s boyfriend, Michael Riemerschmid. She said Kelly’s gossip about her romance made the conflict worse before the two women made up.

Kelly, 58, said she was torn between Juan, a horse trainer, and Nick, an Olympic snowboarder she met through Raya. She described Nick as sweet and kind, while comparing Juan to a telenovela star.

Kelly said she and one of the men were in a “situationship,” while adding that she had also dated another man who never met the group. She continues to browse dating apps and said she is willing to make the first move.

Kelly’s preferred opening message is “aloha,” she said, though she has dealbreakers: unusual cats in a profile put her off. Sonja said she is wary of men pictured shirtless while holding fish.

The Golden Life airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on E!, followed by Hot Goss interviews with cast members. The series also features former Real Housewives of New York City cast members including Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley.

Luann, a former cast member of RHONY, has become a cabaret performer. Sonja and Kelly have also had careers in fashion, and Kelly later became a luxury realtor.
