Mew and Mewtwo Officially Unveils Redesigns for 30th Anniversary Collection Releasing November 6

Anniversary collection arrives in November
The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Figure Collection is scheduled to arrive November 6. It features new figures of Mew and Mewtwo, two familiar Pokémon from the franchise’s first generation.
Each Pokémon has a separate collector’s box, priced at $29.99 in the US. The boxes combine the figures with cards from the 30th Celebration expansion, which has been part of the franchise’s anniversary lineup.
Two contrasting figure designs
Mewtwo’s design places the Pokémon among dark, jagged crystals. Tokyo-based artist Daichi F Sugimoto sculpted it, and his credits include work connected to Pokémon Champions and Silent Hill f. Kaiyodo produced both figures.
Packs and purchase uncertainty
Preorder availability has been limited, and third-party resellers have listed the collections above retail price ahead of release. Some retailers, including Best Buy, may assign designs at random, so buyers might not receive their preferred Pokémon.
Demand could be strong
Scalping has also complicated efforts to complete the anniversary expansion, despite steps by retailers to address the issue. The new figures may attract collectors given Mew and Mewtwo’s longstanding popularity.
Their different designs offer fans a chance to display two well-known Kanto Pokémon together. Whether collectors can find them at the listed price remains uncertain.
