Netflix’s 10-episode heist thriller officially steals the streaming crown

Lupin makes its return

The French series returned last week with its fourth season, following a gap of more than three years. Omar Sy reprises his role as Assane Diop in eight episodes, each running 45 minutes.

Created by George Kay and François Uzan, Lupin is inspired by Maurice Leblanc’s Arsène Lupin. The show has built a worldwide following with mystery, twists and a fast pace over five years.

Back among Netflix’s hits

At the time of writing, Lupin ranks among Netflix’s ten most-watched shows in the U.S. Its return places it back in competition for viewers on the platform. Nobody Wants This holds the top spot among U.S. Netflix shows. The series’ third season shifts its focus from the central couple’s uncertain romance to their day-to-day life together.

A change earns praise

The latest season of Nobody Wants This follows a mixed response to its second season. Critics have responded positively to the new direction. Collider’s Meredith Loftus said the show was finding its stride and expressed hope that Netflix would continue it with another season.
