Everything Amazon announced at its October 2026 hardware launch: Echo devices, Alexa Plus and more

A lineup built around screens
Amazon’s new devices include the Alexa Photo Frame, Echo Time smart alarm clock, Echo Studio with Home Camera, a redesigned Echo Dot and the Echo Show 16. The lineup ranges from a dedicated photo display to a screenless speaker and a large smart display.
New features for Alexa
The Alexa Photo Frame is designed specifically to show photos and also works as an Alexa speaker. Amazon devices chief Panos Panay called it “the world’s smartest photo frame,” according to the report.
Echo Time and Studio updates
The Echo Time is a baseball-sized smart alarm clock with a 3.2-inch touchscreen. It costs $199.99 and is available to order now; its features include a choice of clock faces and sleep sensing intended to time an alarm to a user’s sleep cycle.
The Echo Studio with Home Camera adds a built-in camera for room monitoring and showing things to Alexa. Amazon also says the speaker can adjust its sound to the room and change volume based on where someone is in it.
A redesigned home map
Amazon’s Alexa Home Map has new graphics, features and dynamic effects. The interactive 3D view covers the inside and outside of a property. With compatible Ring cameras, the map can provide a 360-degree view and animate nearby cars and people.
