At 36, Taylor Swift shines in a floral velvet mini at Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala 2026

A floral look for the gala

Swift chose a burgundy velvet Raisa Vanessa dress with a floral print for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame gala. The strapless mini was paired with purple Jimmy Choo heels featuring crystal ankle straps. A softly curled half-up hairstyle completed the look at the organization’s 56th anniversary event on Monday evening.

Youngest inductee at 36

At age 36, Swift became the youngest artist ever inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. She will be part of the Class of 2026 alongside Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp and Lee Thomas Miller.

In a statement at the time of her nomination, Swift said she had focused on Nashville since she began writing songs as a child. She described wanting to learn from experienced writers and become part of a community of storytellers.

Nashville and country music

Swift said Nashville had proved to be what she had hoped for, praising a city that values hard work, determination and imagination. She also expressed gratitude for being honored by a city she loves.

Although Swift is strongly associated with pop music, she has recently returned to country. Her original song for “Toy Story 5,” “I Knew It, I Knew You,” reached No. 1 on the US country radio chart in September, her first song to top the chart in 13 years.
