Why One of the Decade’s Greatest Thriller Shows Officially Lands on a New Streamer

A town with no way out
From follows a group of people stranded in a nameless town. Travelers are drawn there by an unexplained force, but newcomers cannot leave once they arrive. At night, creatures hunt the residents, disguising their grotesque appearance by taking human form. The survivors also face hostile spirits during the day, which exploit their hope of going home and try to turn them against one another.
Three seasons on Netflix
Netflix currently offers the first three seasons of From, comprising 30 episodes. The series, which airs on MGM+, is in production on its fifth and final season. The early episodes introduce Boyd Stevens, the town’s de facto sheriff, and a family of four who become trapped there. As the story continues, it reveals clues about the town’s history and why its residents cannot escape.
Characters anchor the mystery
Harold Perrineau plays Boyd, whose efforts to protect the residents push him to emotional and physical limits. His struggle to keep the community alive while holding on to his sanity forms a central part of the series.
Other cast members include Catalina Sandino Moreno as Tabitha Matthews, who has a supernatural connection to the town, and Elizabeth Saunders as Donna Raines, a source of guidance for the survivors. Victor Kavanaugh, played by Scott McCord, offers clues to the town’s past after living there longer than the current residents.
