Prime Video Weekend: 3 Elite Series to Binge on Oct. 24–25

Carrie remains in the top 10

The new adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie has remained in Prime Video’s top 10 since arriving two weeks ago. Mike Flanagan created the modern interpretation. Collider reviewer Nate Richard called it “definitely worth a watch” for readers especially attached to the novel. The story suggests the show could lose its position as another popular series returns.

The Terminal List returns

The Terminal List is back for its second season, more than four years after its debut. David DiGilio created the series, adapting Jack Carr’s 2018 novel. Chris Pratt stars as Navy SEAL James Reece, who seeks revenge for the murders of his wife and child. All eight episodes are available at once, and Collider’s Michael John Petty gave the season an 8/10 review.

Action franchises enter the mix

The remaining material turns from Prime Video recommendations to descriptions of four action franchises: John Wick, Fast & Furious, Mission: Impossible and Die Hard. It presents each through themes such as discipline, loyalty, teamwork and improvisation.

Those descriptions do not clearly name a third Prime Video series for the weekend. The story therefore identifies Carrie and The Terminal List as its specific viewing recommendations, while the action-franchise section does not resolve the promised list of three.
