The Fantasy Bra Returns

Victoria’s Secret brought back the Fantasy Bra for its 2026 runway show on Sunday night. Kylie Jenner wore the new creation, designed by Jacob & Co., which was billed as the most expensive in the line’s history.

The runway appearance followed a gap of several years: the Fantasy Bra had not featured in a Victoria’s Secret show since 2018. The garment’s story reaches back to 1996, when the company introduced it on a large New York City billboard.

Early Designs Set A High Bar

Claudia Schiffer wore the debut design, a diamond-covered piece called the “Million Dollar Miracle Bra.” A later look, the “Diamond Dream Bra,” paired white satin with diamonds and a 42-carat teardrop gem at its center. Gisele Bündchen modeled a ruby-covered bra and matching underwear for a catalog. At the time, the $15 million set was Victoria’s Secret’s most expensive lingerie creation.

Sapphires, Rubies And Diamonds

Heidi Klum wore the “Heavenly Star Fantasy Bra” in 2001. Its decorations included 1,200 Sri Lankan pink sapphires, 2,300 round white diamonds and a central 90-carat diamond. Karolína Kurková debuted the 2002 “Star of Victoria Fantasy Bra,” priced at $10 million. Its floral arrangement used 1,150 rubies shaped like roses, 1,600 emeralds as leaves and diamonds for smaller blossoms.

Later Looks And Lavish Details

Klum returned in 2003 wearing an $11 million chainmail-style design that took 370 hours to make. It combined 2,809 white diamonds with yellow-orange sapphires, rhodolites and amethysts; she wore it over a red bra on the runway. Other designs included a $12.5 million floral piece modeled by Bündchen, made with 22 rubies and 2,900 pavé-set diamonds. Selita Ebanks wore the $4.5 million “Very Sexy Holiday” bra, decorated with gems forming holly, while Adriana Lima modeled the $5 million “Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra.”
