On London Set, Anya Taylor Officially Returns to Netflix in 8-Part Revenge Series Based on Bestselling Novel
A new Netflix drama
How to Kill Your Family is Taylor-Joy’s upcoming Netflix drama, based on Bella Mackie’s 2021 bestselling novel. It centers on Grace, a young woman intent on taking revenge on the wealthy family that left her and her mother behind.
The project was commissioned two years ago, and its filming schedule has now been confirmed. It currently has no release date.
Production begins in London
Production is underway in London, according to What’s on Netflix, which also unveiled the first set photos. They show Taylor-Joy playing Grace as she returns to the city after a deadly family trip to Marbella.
In the photos, Taylor-Joy stands before a black Georgian door with a cream-and-tan suitcase. Its luggage tag reads AGP to LGW, the airport codes for Málaga and Gatwick; Málaga is the closest airport to Marbella.
Taylor-Joy’s recent Netflix release
Taylor-Joy’s adventure dramedy Sacrifice arrived on Netflix three days ago and is already the second-most-watched title in America, behind Ben Affleck’s Animal. The film follows Joan, played by Taylor-Joy, and her siblings, who are driven by a mysterious volcanic prophecy after their mother dies.
The siblings take over a glamorous charity gala and seize three unlikely hostages for a sacrificial ritual, including movie star Mike Tyler, played by Chris Evans. Sacrifice was released on September 6, 2025, to critical disappointment, but gained substantial streaming attention in its first week.
