Preorders push iPhone Duo delivery estimates into late January, with orders already delayed to 2027

Delivery dates move quickly

Apple opened iPhone Duo preorders at 8AM ET on Friday. In less than an hour, delivery estimates had slipped into next year. At the time of reporting, Apple’s website showed late January delivery dates for every configuration. The device is still available to preorder online, though buyers may face a lengthy wait.

Demand and supply unclear

The delay may be due to high demand for Apple’s first foldable iPhone, low supply, or a combination of the two. No specific cause was confirmed. Apple announced the iPhone Duo in September. It features a shorter, passport-style design that Samsung introduced earlier this year.

Price and finishes

The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for the 256GB model. It is offered in “star white” and “night sky.” Customers can still place a preorder through Apple’s website, although current online estimates point to delivery in late January.
