The Apple HomeView Is Like a Giant Apple Watch for the Home

Apple has introduced the HomeView, its first product in the smart home category, according to Business Insider.
The device is designed for shared household use, with face recognition that switches the screen to an individual’s experience, Apple marketing chief Greg Joswiak said.
HomeView can show camera feeds and control lights, thermostats, door locks and blinds through touch or voice commands. Apple also highlighted FaceTime and sound features.
The Verge reported that the hub is available for preorder starting today.
