Family of Norfolk GP Hannah Terry 'devastated' by her death

Hannah Cain, known to patients as Dr Terry, was found dead at her home in Dersingham, Norfolk. Her family described her as a loving relative and friend and said they were devastated.

In a statement, they also praised the care she gave her patients and said they were proud of her. Cain was listed as a member of the team at Grimston Medical Centre.

The practice closed for two days and reopened on Wednesday. It said it would not discuss the circumstances of her death.

A post-mortem examination recorded a blunt-force injury to the right side of Cain’s head and another injury that could indicate neck compression.

Mark Cain was remanded in custody after appearing in court in Norwich. He did not enter a plea and is due to appear before a judge on Thursday.
