Two mystery PlayStation products have leaked — one might be a PlayStation Portal OLED

The Wi-Fi Alliance has certified two unreleased PlayStation devices, prompting speculation that Sony is preparing new versions of its Portal game-streaming handheld.

The products are listed as gaming consoles or peripherals under model numbers CFI-Y2000 and CFI-Y2105. Their numbering and Android 15 software resemble the existing Portal, which also runs Android.

Unlike a dedicated handheld that runs PS5 games directly, the Portal streams games from a home console or Sony’s cloud service. Sony has described cloud streaming as a way to make a lower-cost device with limited memory viable.

The certification shows support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, but no 6GHz connection or apparent increase in antenna count. It offers little further detail about the devices.

An OLED Portal has been rumored for this year by hardware leaker KeplerL2, as reported by VideoCardz. Sony had not responded to The Verge’s request for comment, and no announcement or launch details are confirmed.
