The announcement names Disney+, ABC and ESPN as viewing options, but does not explain which Disney+ subscription tier will include the game or whether extra fees will apply. ¹²
The game is scheduled for SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. ⁴
Disney says ESPN and Disney+ will distribute the game to different international markets, but the sources do not provide a country-by-country viewing list. ²

How can I watch Super Bowl LXI?

The announced options are Disney+ streaming and broadcasts on ABC and ESPN. Disney+ is expected to stream the game for subscribers in the United States and dozens of countries worldwide. ¹²

That announcement identifies the services, not all the practical details viewers may need. It does not say which Disney+ plan will carry the game, whether an additional payment is required, or exactly how ABC and ESPN coverage will be distributed in each market. Check the services’ official listings closer to game day for current information.

When and where is the 2027 Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LXI is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. ¹⁴ That date is in the future, so schedules and viewing details could change; the available sources do not provide a kickoff time.

What does Disney+ streaming change for viewers?

Disney+ adds another streaming option alongside the ABC and ESPN broadcasts. For a viewer who already uses Disney+, it may make the game available through a service they have, but the announcement alone does not confirm which subscription is needed or whether viewers must pay extra. ¹²

Streaming and a television broadcast are different ways of receiving the same event. The sources name both, but do not explain any differences in commentary, picture quality, or coverage. Viewers should look for service-specific details before the game.

Can viewers outside the United States watch on Disney+?

Disney+ is expected to stream the game in the U.S. and dozens of other countries. Disney also says ESPN and Disney+ will distribute the Super Bowl to 55 and 120 international markets, respectively. ¹²

Those figures describe distribution across markets, not a list of countries where each service will be available. The sources do not say which markets will have Disney+ access, or whether local rights and subscription rules will differ. Viewers outside the U.S. will need to check local Disney+ and ESPN information.

What viewing details are still unknown?

The announcement does not provide a kickoff time, Disney+ plan requirements, possible added fees, or a country-by-country list of streaming availability. It also does not explain whether the ABC and ESPN broadcasts will be available through particular television or online packages. ¹²

The practical takeaway is straightforward: Disney+, ABC and ESPN have been named as places to watch, but viewers should confirm the details as the event gets closer.
