Tom Hardy and Ridley Scott’s Crime Thriller Is Officially Streaming Free
Hardy’s television roles
Tom Hardy is widely known for action and science-fiction films, but he has also taken on prominent television roles. He played Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders and Harry Da Souza in MobLand.
Earlier reports raised concerns that Hardy might not return to MobLand after tensions with a leading producer. Newer reports said those tensions had passed, and Hardy is confirmed for Season 3 alongside Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. The show has been renewed for that season.
Where to watch Taboo
Hardy worked with Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight on the British crime thriller Taboo, which is streaming on Peacock in the United States. The show was created by Knight, Hardy and Hardy’s father, Chips Hardy. Viewers can also watch every episode free on Pluto TV, Tubi and the Roku Channel.
A second season remains uncertain
Taboo has not been officially renewed for a second season. Knight has said he has an idea for another season and has discussed it with Hardy. As of early November, there were no concrete plans to film a second season.
