Oklahoma PFF Grades Following a Triumphant First Road Trip to Gainesville

A balanced road performance
Oklahoma’s offense and defense complemented each other in Gainesville. A historic offensive drive was followed by timely defensive stops and turnovers. The performance left the Sooners at 5-4 overall and 3-3 in conference play. They now have two consecutive home games ahead.
Mateer tops the grades
John Mateer led Oklahoma in overall PFF grade, earning an 87.4 across all 77 offensive snaps. The showing came after a week of criticism. Michael Fasusi also rebounded, posting a 77.6 grade across 77 snaps. He ranked fourth on offense and seventh on the team overall, after being the team’s lowest-graded player the previous week.
Jordan contributes on third down
Jacob Jordan made an important contribution on third down. His four catches tied with three teammates for the most on the team. Jordan earned an 85.7 grade while playing 19 snaps.
Defense responds with impact plays
After a difficult prior week, Oklahoma’s defense delivered a strong response and held Florida to one of its lowest total-yardage outputs in recent years. Danny Okoye helped set the tone, earning an 83.6 grade over 24 snaps, second-most on the defense. Courtland Guillory intercepted a pass in the end zone to prevent a Florida touchdown and potential lead; he graded 69.0 across 49 snaps.
