A New Kind of Cast
This season of The Traitors moves away from a cast of familiar reality television personalities. NBC instead gathered 22 civilians to compete at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
Premiere and Prize
The Traitors: New Blood premiered on NBC on September 17. Episodes become available to stream on Peacock the next day. Contestants are competing for a cash prize of $250,000. The season features both Traitors and Faithfuls.
A Familiar Host Returns
Alan Cumming is back as host and executive producer. While the players are new to the show, Cumming returns to lead the competition. The season’s introduction also raises the question of which contestants have already left the castle.
