New Five Nights Freddy Book Launches November Release With Behind-the-Scenes Movie Details

A new book for fans
The franchise began as an indie video game series in August 2014 and has since grown to include books, graphic novels and movies. Several releases projected for 2026, including Five Laps at Freddy’s and The Joy of Creation, have been pushed back.
Inside the movie production
The new book looks at the making of the first two films and includes more than 100 photographs exclusive to the publication. It also features interviews with production designer Marc Fisichella and Kevin Foster, who performed as Freddy Fazbear.
The book covers the creative process, costumes and set design. It also examines the animatronics, which Jim Henson’s Creature Shop built as practical effects.
More releases on the horizon
The book arrives ahead of the holiday season and may appeal to fans interested in the movies’ production. The article describes the films as having drawn positive reactions from fans, who have noted their cameos, Easter eggs and in-jokes.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 has been greenlit, with filming planned for 2027. It was not included in Blumhouse’s 2027 slate, so the film may arrive later that year or in 2028. Another book, Five Nights at Freddy’s Character Encyclopedia: Updated Edition, is expected in December 2026.
