In Puerto Rico farewell fight, Amanda Serrano wants career legacy as a game changer

A final fight at home
Serrano plans to end her career with a fight in Puerto Rico next year. Her bout with Falzon will be her first at Coliseo de Puerto Rico. Promoters have named the event “The Last Walk.” Serrano said she always knew she would retire in Puerto Rico and that her decision came down to time.
Legacy beyond the record
Serrano has a record of 50 wins, four losses and one draw, with 32 knockouts. She said she hopes people remember her as a “game-changer.” She described the record as the “cherry on top” and said she wants to make the most of her last appearance. “If the knockout comes, it comes,” Serrano said.
Falzon aims for her own moment
Falzon, also 38, has won 12 fights and lost two, with seven knockouts. She called the opportunity to face Serrano a dream come true. “I’m here to try to write my own,” Falzon said, adding that she believes she can win.
A historic career
Serrano said she carries Puerto Rico’s flag in her heart and fights for its people. She hopes they will celebrate her long journey on the night of her farewell.
