Mika Abdalla Books First Movie Role Since 'Off Campus' Success, Will Star in Mystery-Thriller with Obsession's Cooper Tomlinson

Abdalla joins Seeker cast
Abdalla will star opposite Cooper Tomlinson, who appeared in Obsession. The film reunites Abdalla with director Adam Rehmeier, with whom she previously worked on Snack Shack. Jessica Rothe is also in the cast.
A disappearance drives the story
Tomlinson plays Grant, whose fiancée Caroline, played by Abdalla, disappeared without explanation five years earlier. Now working as a ride-share driver, Grant picks up a passenger he believes is responsible for her disappearance. The encounter begins a tense pursuit that grows stranger and more disturbing, challenging what the characters—and viewers—believe.
Production plans and casting
The filmmakers are currently casting the roles of Steve and Kate. Production is scheduled to take place in Washington State in January 2027. Rehmeier said he was drawn to Michael’s script, describing it as a dark, twisted mix of humor and horror. He also praised the film’s producers at Hammerstone Studios, HyperObject Industries and Arkhum Productions.
