Meet RevenueCat Shipaton 2026’s 20 First-Place Apps Tackling Everyday Problems

Mio earns the Grand Prize
Mio combines habit tracking and self-care with a pixel companion that grows as users make progress. Completing habits earns coins, which can unlock companions and collectibles; friends and groups add a social element.
RevenueCat named Mio its Grand Prize winner, citing revenue and growth in a crowded habit-tracking market. Boop, another winner, turns photos of cats and dogs into stickers for a digital collection.
Creator Taiwo Omisore’s “100 Boops” challenge brought the project into the real world. Printed pet portraits and conversations with pet owners helped shape the app, which won first place in #BuildInPublic.
Games built for different settings
Nitelore is a futuristic arcade racer featuring hovering vehicles, neon tracks, time trials, combat races and online competition. Players can start with free tracks, then explore paid unlocks and daily and weekly challenges.
RevenueCat’s Best Game judges recognized Nitelore’s art direction, effects and haptics. Bubble Games, winner of the Next Gen Award, instead turns several phones into a shared board for minigames, including virtual hot potato.
Four software engineering students at Université Laval built Bubble Games, whose Shipaton submission includes ten minigames. The winner announcement links to its Android release on Google Play.
Tools for everyday routines
See as Me: Colorblind uses a split-screen camera to compare types and degrees of color blindness. A shareable link lets others view the comparison without installing the app; developer Javier Jiménez drew on his own experience with protanopia, and the project won the RevenueCat Peace Prize.
Clucky makes users solve a problem, move around or find an object to turn off its alarm. Its rooster character also shapes the interface, including a time picker with scrolling eyes and a yellow beak; the app received the RevenueCat Design Award.
Just Add takes a craving entered as text, spoken aloud or shown in a photo, then suggests three meals. Its recommendations add protein, fiber and healthy fats, while shopping support, hands-free cooking and remembered preferences help users prepare them.
New twists on familiar games
Adversary asks players to find matching pairs, but includes a hidden Danger card with no match. Revealing it adds an ad to the board, and the game by Niv Ben-porath won the Catvertising Award.
After an initial ad-free period, players can continue with ads or choose a permanent unlock that removes them and adds difficulty options. GRIDLOCK expands the familiar three-by-three game with online rooms, up to four players and eleven special moves.
GRIDLOCK’s HAMM Award recognizes a model built around shared Credits. Rewarded ads, optional packs and a subscription use that currency, while core modes remain free.
