X adds more than a dozen icon options for iPhone and iPad, 9to5mac reports

A fresh set of app icons
The latest X app update replaces its existing alternative icons with new designs. The collection includes more ground-level space options, along with other choices. The new set is the first significant refresh since the platform took the X name a few years ago. The app has offered ways to change its default icon since its Twitter days.
How icon access evolved
Alternative icons first appeared as a feature of Twitter Blue, which is now called X Premium. Subscribers can choose among the available designs; Twitter Blue also offered seasonal icons for a short time. After the Twitter logo gave way to the X symbol, the icon choices included several space-themed designs, while the default changed to a black icon.
Where to find the choices
On iPhone and iPad, open X and go to Settings, then Subscription, then App Icons. The updated options are listed there for subscribers.
