Legend of Zelda Returns With an 80-Hour Fan-Made Adventure

A New Fan-Made Quest

The Legend of Zelda: The Rosemaster is a free-to-play project by Tabletpillow, hosted on PureZC. It brings Link into a new story and offers between 50 and 80 hours of previously unseen content.

Its pixel-art presentation recalls older Zelda games. Players can explore, solve puzzles, enter dungeons and collect powerful items, with a difficulty slider offering three settings that can be changed at any time.

Themes And Characters

The game includes what its creators describe as political undertones and mature elements, although its overall tone is mostly comedic. They caution that it may not be appropriate for children or anyone uncomfortable with those subjects.

Link shares the story with four other major characters, whose development unfolds during the quest. Dynamic cutscenes appear throughout the adventure.

A Kingdoms’ Uneasy Truce

The story begins after Hyrule and neighboring Elignita fought a long war. Their conflict paused under a ten-year ceasefire, but the agreement is nearing its end. Elignita’s leader, Tsarina Ingrid, plans to build a weapon called the ROSEMASTER, which could destroy Hyrule. She sends her army to find the rose fragments needed to make it, while Link, an Elignitan soldier, searches for the Red Rose alongside his superior officer, Lotz Fitzgerald.

Available To Download Free

The Rosemaster can be downloaded for free now. Its combination of exploration, combat and puzzles may appeal to players looking for a classic-style Zelda experience. The main series follows Link and Princess Zelda as they defend Hyrule from Ganon. Its games are known for action, adventure and puzzle-solving, often involving the Triforce.
