Exclusive: Kevin Federline Faces Staggering Credit Card Bill as Britney Spears Payments End

Bank lawsuit details

Documents obtained by Page Six say Federline owes City National Bank at least $117,704. The total covers a credit card, a personal line of credit and an overdraft line.

The lawsuit says the credit card debt was due by August 2026. The personal line of credit was due in June 2025, while the overdraft line was due in April 2025.

The bank is seeking accrued interest as well: 20.5% on the credit card, 7.5% on the line of credit and 18% on the overdraft line. Federline’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Child support payments ended

Federline signed his bank agreement in late November 2024, around the time Spears’ final child support payment reached his account. He initially received $40,000 monthly while raising their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, in Hawaii.

Payments fell to $20,000 after Sean Preston turned 18 and continued until Jayden James graduated from high school. In his memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” Federline said the money covered security and maintaining the boys’ standard of living with Spears, which he said cost well over $40,000 a month.

Federline and Spears’ history

Federline and Spears met in early 2004, became engaged by July and married in California that September. Spears filed for divorce in November 2006, and the split was finalized in July 2007. Federline later married Victoria Prince in 2013.
