Commanders: Treylon Burks Misses Practice With McLaurin Out Before Eagles Rematch in Burgundy Roundup

Receiver availability in question
Burks, who was limited Wednesday because of a foot injury, did not practice Thursday. Washington faces Philadelphia on Sunday night and has one practice remaining before determining its available receivers.
McLaurin is on injured reserve, while Diggs returned to full practice Thursday, as coach Dan Quinn had anticipated. The report does not say whether Burks will be available for the game.
Schedule and coaching changes
Washington is set to host Philadelphia on November 1, then the Rams on November 8, before visiting the Giants on November 12. The schedule means three games in 12 days, with the New York matchup on a short week.
Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan in D.C. reported that Wilks is expected to join the coaching staff by Sunday night. Washington hired him after its Week 6 loss to the 49ers to assist with game-planning.
Quinn eyes rush and coverage
Quinn said the staff examined coordination between the pass rush and coverage during the bye. He explained that pressure can be ineffective if a quarterback gets an immediate, uncontested throw before an extra rusher arrives. “I’d love to see us, whether it’s blitzing or rush coverage together, really being in sync with that,” Quinn said.
Stevens builds kicking record
Drew Stevens made his only field-goal attempt against San Francisco, a 51-yarder. That extended his streak to seven consecutive makes and brought his season mark to 10 of 12, or 83.3%.
Stevens has made three field goals from at least 50 yards, a Washington rookie-season record. His 57-yarder against Seattle remains the longest field goal by a rookie in franchise history.
