Capped at 270, Dodge Charger gets a $10,995 package celebrating 90 years of Mopar

A limited Charger anniversary edition
This year’s Mopar special edition is based on the six-cylinder Dodge Charger, with versions for the R/T and Scat Pack. The package celebrates 90 years of Mopar and follows a series of annual limited-edition vehicles from Stellantis that began in 2010.
The package costs $10,995 and adds carbon fiber, but no additional power. Stellantis will build 270 for North America: 27 for Canada and the rest for the United States.
Three colors and show appearances
The cars will be divided evenly among Diamond Black, White Knuckle and Bludicrous. Stellantis plans to display the Mopar ’27 editions at the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals before bringing them to its SEMA booth.
The show car will include additional factory-authorized upgrades: performance springs, a cat-back exhaust and 21-by-11-inch wheels. These upgrades are specified for the show car.
Other vehicles planned for SEMA
The Mopar editions will share Stellantis’ SEMA presence with two Ram Rumble Bee pickups. One of the trucks will have as much as 900 supercharged horsepower. Three vehicles customized for the Easter Jeep Safari will also appear. Jeep plans to show trail armor it calls Ugly Sweater, designed for the Wrangler.
A nod to Mopar heritage
The anniversary gives Dodge a reason to offer a special-edition Charger, though the package does not bring the eight-cylinder engine some Mopar fans want. The edition instead focuses on added equipment and limited production.
The annual series has included vehicles such as Jeep Gladiators and Dodge Challengers. This year, the Charger takes its place in the tradition.
