Angela Wu unveils DC's best Lois Lane art from a hectic time; Superman fans shouldn't miss this cover

Lois at the center of the cover
Wu’s variant depicts Lois at her desk amid flying newspaper pages and sticky notes, while other Daily Planet employees rush around her. She holds a phone and pen, wears her press badge, and remains composed.
The cover shows Lois in investigative reporter mode, reflecting her work as a journalist. Though her relationship with Superman is significant, her reporting for the Daily Planet is also central to her character.
Three covers for issue 21
Superman Unlimited #21 is scheduled for release Wednesday, January 27, from DC Comics. It will have three covers: the main cover by Lucas Mayer, a variant by Belén Ortega, and Wu’s Lois Lane variant.
Lois across DC stories
In the current Superman stories, Lois is editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, succeeding Perry White, who is now Metropolis’ mayor. She has also been guiding her son Jon into adulthood and briefly returned as Superwoman twice after first gaining those powers during the DC Rebirth era.
After DC K.O., Lois returned to being a civilian without powers. She also appears regularly in Action Comics and the main Superman title, while alternate versions feature in Absolute Superman and Superman: The Stranger.
More Lois appearances ahead
Rachel Brosnan is set to reprise Lois in the DCU film Man of Tomorrow, scheduled to reach theaters July 9, 2027. Lois and Superman will mark their 90th anniversary in 2028. There has been no word on whether Alice Lee will return as Lois in My Adventures with Superman for a fourth season.
