Rob Kardashian Reacts to His Rare Outing for Kim Kardashian's Birthday Going Viral

A rare appearance draws attention

Rob Kardashian attended sister Kim Kardashian’s birthday dinner in Beverly Hills on Oct. 20. Days later, he discussed the attention surrounding the outing during a phone call with ex Blac Chyna on a livestream shared to social media. Chyna told Rob people were excited to see his photos. He said he was surprised by the reaction and joked that he thought he looked “crazy.” Chyna disagreed, calling the pictures “fire.”

Talk turns to Dream

The former couple also spoke about their 9-year-old daughter, Dream Kardashian. Chyna said people had asked where Dream was, and Rob confirmed she was in bed after spending the evening with him.

Rob said they planned to get up for school the next day. He also said they would paint pumpkins at his sister’s house, adding that Dream would likely take the lead because she was the creative one.

Building a co-parenting relationship

Rob and Chyna began dating in January 2016 and became engaged three months later. They split in 2017, three months after Dream was born. Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, also shares son King Cairo Stevenson, 14, with ex-fiancé Tyga.

The former couple have had public disputes, including Chyna’s unsuccessful 2022 defamation lawsuit against Rob’s sisters Kim, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. In a 2025 interview with Access Hollywood, Chyna said communication, respect and boundaries were important to healthy co-parenting.
