Deadspin: Early returns on Seahawks WR Rashid Shaheed’s knee injury look positive

Shaheed’s status remains uncertain
Macdonald shared the encouraging initial assessment during a Monday radio interview on 93.3 KJR. The coach did not say whether Shaheed would be ready for Seattle’s next game.
Shaheed had two catches for one yard before leaving the win over Kansas City. The 28-year-old joined Seattle from New Orleans at last season’s trade deadline. This season, Shaheed has recorded 16 catches for 163 yards, along with 39 rushing yards and one score. He has averaged 27.3 yards per kick return and 11.5 yards per punt return.
Cross expected to miss time
An NFL Network report said left tackle Charles Cross is expected to be sidelined after suffering a high ankle sprain Sunday night. Seattle hopes he can return within one or two weeks, according to the report.
Cross, 25, has started 69 games since Seattle selected him ninth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. The report did not provide a more specific return date.
Price’s return window opens
Macdonald also said Seattle will open running back Jadarian Price’s 21-day window to return from injured reserve this week. Price has been out with a chest injury. A first-round pick, selected 32nd overall in this year’s draft, Price gained 119 rushing yards over Seattle’s first three games. He has missed the team’s last four games while on injured reserve.
