OnePlus Hops Into the Clip-Style Wireless Earbuds Bandwagon With Buds Clip

A New Clip-Style Design
The OnePlus Buds Clip use a C-shaped clip that wraps around the ear, with an audio ball at one end. OnePlus says the earbuds were co-created with Danish audio brand Dynaudio. The design includes two drivers: an 11mm woofer and a 9mm tweeter. The earbuds are available in matte pearl white and a metallic-finish shade called “twilight rose.”
Features And Battery Life
The open-ear earbuds do not have active noise cancellation. OnePlus says they include AI translation powered by a 6nm AI audio chip, along with ear detection that lets either earbud work in either ear.
OnePlus rates battery life at 9.5 hours when streaming with the compressed AAC codec. Using the hi-res LHDC format reduces that figure by an hour.
Price And Availability Unknown
OnePlus has not announced a price or confirmed which markets will get the Buds Clip. The product is listed on the company’s global store, but its wider availability remains unclear.
Clip-style earbuds have attracted offerings from brands including Shokz, Bose, Sony and Samsung. The design’s comfort is difficult to assess without wearing a pair, and the Buds Clip’s fit has not been independently judged.
