Heavy rain floods roads
Downpours from Thursday to Monday caused flooding across parts of southern and eastern Queensland. Flash flooding affected Laidley Creek and Glenore Grove in the Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane, and closed some roads, police said.
The highest reported four-day rainfall total was 439.4mm at Blackdown Tableland, near Rockhampton, by early Monday. Lower Springbrook recorded 325.2mm, Nambour had 314.2mm and Brooweena received 299.6mm.
Warnings remain in place
