A marriage since 2004
Cavanagh and Maureen Grise married in July 2004. Their wedding was a Catholic ceremony on Nantucket in Massachusetts. Grise works as a photo editor and photographer. Her professional experience includes work for Sports Illustrated and The New York Times.
Four children, private family life
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Alice, in February 2006, about a year and a half after their wedding. Their other children are sons Thomas, 19, and James, 17, and their youngest daughter, Katie.
