Dexter Officially Returns in 6 Days: Two Brand-New Serial Killers Await

Dexter’s New York Life

Since his 2006 debut, Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. Hall, has remained a celebrated television vigilante. After Dexter: New Blood, he is living in New York, but his Dark Passenger remains part of his life.

The city gives Dexter room to pursue a normal life, fatherhood and vigilantism. Season 1 went largely well, but one mistake could put everything at risk.

Two Killers Emerge

In Season 2, Dexter faces two serial killers. One is a young, notorious figure whose emergence has spread terror through the city; the other has avoided justice for a lifetime and is now looking for a challenge.

Dexter once had access to resources at Miami Metro. Now, age is catching up with him, including through worsening eyesight, while he also tries to be a role model for his son.

Season Begins October 30

The next chapter of Dexter’s life starts October 30. His son’s own Dark Passenger adds another complication as Dexter tries to manage the dangers surrounding his family and his vigilante life.

The season places Dexter in a city with plenty of problems and two killers to pursue. His efforts to maintain a new life face pressure from both the criminal threats and his personal responsibilities.
