Five languages added
With iOS 27.2, Siri AI became available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Until this release, the assistant supported English alone. The additions bring Siri AI to six languages in total, counting English. Apple introduced the expanded availability alongside several new Siri AI features.
Four more planned
Apple says Chinese (Traditional), Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese are due to receive support by the end of the year. That would bring the total to ten supported languages.
The timing may coincide with iOS 27.3, which is expected to ship in December. Its first beta could appear in the coming week, according to the article.
China availability remains limited
Although Chinese (Traditional) is among the languages planned for Siri AI, the assistant will not be available in China for now. Language support and availability in that market are separate matters.
