1,368% revenue growth: Anthropic reveals rapid expansion ahead of possible blockbuster IPO

IPO details remain unsettled
Anthropic, the developer of Claude, unveiled its public IPO filing on Monday. The offering is widely expected around mid-November and could become one of the biggest stock debuts in history.
The filing does not state how many shares will be offered, the price per share or the company’s overall valuation. Those details are expected to be determined after a roadshow with investors, prospective investors and bankers.
The company could be valued at more than $2 trillion, according to expectations described around the offering. That would top SpaceX’s record-setting IPO, which raised $75 billion in June and valued the company at $2.1 trillion.
Revenue surges alongside losses
For all of 2025, the company reported a $42 billion net loss. Anthropic said it had raised about $141 billion in capital through the end of June and held $112.4 billion in cash.
Large cloud spending commitments
The IPO is arriving slightly later than expected. Recent market movements have prompted investors to question the course of the fast-growing AI boom.
