Oregon elementary school shooting: gun used by shooter was birthday gift from his mother

Gun was a birthday gift
Sources told CBS News that the gun used in the shooting was a birthday present from the shooter’s mother. The 16-year-old opened fire at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend last week.
Four people were killed
Police said the children killed were 5, 8 and 11 years old. The teacher was identified as 25-year-old Megan Lambert. Police and his family identified the 5-year-old victim as Rhoam Summer. The families of the other two children have not made their names public, Bend police said.
Bystander stopped the shooter
