Seventeen’s Jeonghan and Joshua talk inspiration, chemistry behind their joint Pinterest account for DREAMSCAPE
A visual diary for fans
The pair's Pinterest board gathers candid images, album photoshoot previews and other moments. The singers described the posts as a small gift for their audience and said the account explores the idea of dreams.
They hope listeners will use the album's look and feel as inspiration for their own collections and styling. Jeonghan and Joshua said fans could make personal versions of DREAMSCAPE by saving images that match their tastes.
A new way to connect
Pinterest's APAC head of content partnerships, Ayumi Nakajima, said interest in K-pop on the platform has grown. She said the collaboration with the duo's agency reflects how fans connect with visual ideas as well as music.
Nakajima said the diary can bring audiences closer to an artist's creative world before a release, giving them time with its aesthetics and storytelling. Seventeen fans already collect photo cards, attend concerts and buy albums and merchandise.
Music shaped by collaboration
The new album has seven tracks, including duet songs that explore house, synthpop and dance rock. Joshua's solo track is the punk rock song "Not Personal," while Jeonghan's is the dreamy "Coloring." The duo said the project grew from many conversations about the art they wanted to make. They also took trips together, which they said helped them understand one another and settle on a shared direction.
Seventeen's large audience
Seventeen's 2023 album, "FML," set a first-day sales record for a K-pop album, moving more than 6.4 million copies. The group's "NEW" tour ran from 2025 to 2026.
The tour included 31 stadium shows across Asia and four US cities, drawing close to a million fans in person and online. JxJ gives the group's audience another project to follow: the two members' shared creative work and personal styles.
