Alienware’s 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor drops $50 at Amazon

A lower price on Alienware

Amazon has discounted the Alienware AW3426DW to $742.22. Its usual price is $799.99, making the current offer just over $50 off. The monitor launched a couple of months ago. The discounted price is not the lowest seen for this model, though it is still a notable reduction, according to the report.

Ultrawide OLED display

The 34-inch monitor has a 21:9 ultrawide QHD OLED screen and a 280Hz refresh rate. It also offers a fast response time and an 1800R curve. Alienware says the panel uses Penta Tandem quantum dots for bolder colors. The OLED technology also delivers deep blacks and high contrast.

Connections and adaptive refresh

The AW3426DW supports Nvidia G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro. These technologies can help provide smooth gameplay when a PC cannot match the monitor’s native 280Hz refresh rate. Ports include two HDMI 2.1 connections, DisplayPort, USB-A and USB-C. The USB ports can be used for charging and connecting peripherals.
