Photos show search of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home as she vows she will ‘not be silenced’

Federal agents searched Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Washington, D.C., home on Monday, according to NPR. The Justice Department said the search was carried out under a judicially authorized warrant.
The BBC reported that the search was part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. Authorities have not publicly explained what the investigation concerns.
Omar said in a statement that former President Donald Trump had targeted her with what she called baseless lies and smear campaigns. Trump told reporters he had nothing to do with the Justice Department investigation.
